Davar Fazaeli

Davar has Interacted with the Africa market in the last 30 years with mega scale assets under management; primarily focusing on connecting people & businesses with ideas, and how to communicate architectures, technologies, and business concepts.

He founded the first company (President & Chairman of the Board – Rushen Oil Company Limited) to ever be awarded a contract by the Government of Sierra Leone for the entire offshore region of the country in 1994 – to map and perform tests and develop business models to ultimately prepare blocks for international auction to kickstart oil and gas exploration in the country.

Recently closed on a portfolio with Edmunds as one of the Executive Directors; Davar’s appetite to continue his journey in driving economies in Africa ignited the rollout of Zoodlabs Africa.

Davar’s vision as the Group Chairman and CEO of Zoodlabs is driven by a simple and yet compelling approach to bridge the connectivity gap, and accelerate the digital economy in the sub-region.

Co Founder Chief Innovation Officer

David A.T. Kpakima

Kpakima is a consummate business executive with over 12 years experience in driving brands using high- tech/digital business development methodologies supported by big data and advanced analytics in Telecom, Software industry and Financial Services.

He has had the opportunity to create, lead and implement disruptive business models that have accelerated million-dollar revenue growth, clients’ acquisition, and brand positioning using lean and cost-effective approaches, and have interfaced with some of the brilliant minds in the industries.

He worked at Standard Chartered Bank in Sierra Leone where he held several positions including Head of Retail Products, Client Segments & Acquisition, Country Head, Brand & Marketing and Head, Client Experience Process & Governance. He led the transformation of Onlime Sierra Leone as Commercial Director and also Consulted to plan the business rollout of Smart Mobile as Commercial Consultant. He served as a business consultant for Gerson Lehrman Group, New York.

He is exposed to resolute leadership pieces of training (Standard Chartered Leadership Academy – Top 100 Emerging Business Leaders, President Obama’s Leadership Academy, and personal Executive Coaches) that have enhanced his ability to lead in the most challenging markets of developed and underdeveloped economies.

Kpakima is a Mandela Washington Fellow and alumnus of Northwestern University, Evanston, Illinois, USA – Farley Centre for Entrepreneurship and Innovation and University of Sierra Leone – Institute of Public Administration and Management.

Sally Overall

Dynamic, dedicated, passionate, result-driven, and analytical professional offering over 25 years’ experience in executive management within the Telecommunications industry incl. power & renewable optimization focusing on backhaul fiber, tower Pan African infrastructure sales, operations management, company transition/change management, people management, training, and technical sales. Vast experience building teams that specialize in IPO preparation, due diligence, contract negotiation, implementation of contracts, strategy changes, and applicable governance. Very strong project and program experience

Companies that Sally has worked with on different projects through her East Africa and South African consultancies include: MTN Group, Cell C, Nokia Networks, Vodacom International, Helios Towers, Eaton Towers, Coriant, Econet Wireless Esco, Tesla (Africa Telco Division), Ubuntu Towers Uganda.

Chief Operating Officer

Issam Yatim

As Department and Project Manager, Issam is highly experienced and has worked in the Telecoms sector in Africa for over 10 years.

He has had the chance to make remarkable positive changes throughout his career in Billing, VAS, Operational Support Systems (OSS), and Business Support Systems.

He worked at Smart Telecom in Sierra Leone as Billing and Project Manager, he was the Billing Consultant at Vodafone in Zambia and the Project Manager of Lynx Solution in Sierra Leone.

Issam’s goals as the Commercial and Project Director of Zoodlabs are: establishing customer’s experience, revenue growth, brand recognition, and enhancing employee engagement and leadership.

Financial Controller

Ishmael Bangura

Ishmael is an accountant that is self-motivated and hard working with a plethora of skills in practical and analytical aspect of issues related to accounting and finance, business analysis, strategy and strategic management. Ishmael has over 12 years experience’ practicing as an accountant in various sectors such as Mining, Agriculture, Telecommunications, Accountancy and Auditing firm.

In leading for today and tomorrow, Ishmael is an affiliate member of the Chartered Management Institute (CMI), equipped with knowledge and competencies in meeting today’s complex business environment that is characterized by unprecedented degrees of uncertainty, ambiguity and change.

Ishmael is also a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountant (ACCA). With a burning desire for critical thinking and strategic leadership, he is presently pursuing his MBA (Global Finance) at the University of Derby online.

General Counsel

Emmanuel Tondoneh

Emmanuel  is a barrister and solicitor of the High Court of Sierra Leone. He holds Bachelor of Laws (LLB) with Honours from De Montfort University in Leicester England (UK) and an LL.M with distinction in Corporate and Commercial Law from the University of Dundee Scotland (UK). Emmanuel is currently researching a PhD in Corporate Insolvency focusing on “Cross Border Insolvency in Anglophone West Africa: Protecting Local Creditors and Harmonisation through the UNCITRAL Model Law”.

Emmanuel has worked on numerous projects in Sierra Leone. He worked as a State Counsel (Prosecutor) in the Chambers of the Attorney General and Minister of Justice of Sierra Leone. He was the Legal Counsel, Company Secretary and Head of Contracts at London Mining Limited and Timis Mining Corporation Limited. Between 2017 and 2019 Emmanuel was the Head of Legal at Sierra Rutile Limited and a subsidiary of Iluka Resources Limited a listed Australian mining company. Emmanuel worked as a consultant as Head of Legal and Compliance for FG Gold Limited on the Baomahun Gold project in Sierra Leone.

Emmanuel was part of the team that advised Chinese Development Bank on a share acquisition by Shandong in African Mineral Limited. He completed the acquisition of International Commercial Bank (Sierra Leone) Limited by First Bank Nigeria Plc. Emmanuel has a wealth of experience in working within the extractive industry, regulatory and compliance environment dealing with various commercial transaction, regulatory and company secretarial services in Sierra Leone.

Zsolt Turza

Zsolt is a skilled technology professional with over 15 years of extensive experience in the wireless ISP (Internet Service Provider) business. He has a deep understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities in the field, and has successfully led and managed numerous projects related to network architecture, security, and optimization. Zsolt’s expertise in networking technologies, including Cisco, Nokia, and Mikrotik, has earned him a reputation for proficiency in implementing and managing complex networking environments.

Throughout his career, Zsolt has played a key role in the growth and success of wireless ISP companies, leveraging his vast knowledge and experience to develop innovative solutions, optimize network operations, and deliver exceptional service to customers. His strategic vision, technical acumen, and customer-centric approach have made him a trusted leader in the industry, with a proven track record of achieving outstanding results.

In addition to his wireless ISP expertise, Zsolt is also an avid open source enthusiast, actively contributing to the open source community and promoting the principles of collaborative development. His passion for technology, combined with his leadership skills and dedication to excellence, have earned him a respected position in the tech industry. Currently serving as the Group Networking Services Director at Zoodlabs in Sierra Leone, Zsolt continues to make significant contributions to the success of the company as a leading technology provider.

Natasha Nicole Chami

Natasha  is in charge of Financial Planning and Budget Control at ZoodLabs & Metro Cable, an Internet and Communications provider/distributor in Sierra Leone, West Africa; with Twenty Eight years of work experience in Trinidad & Tobago, UK, USA, and Sierra Leone; of which Twelve years in Retailing, Nine years in a Management/Supervisory capacity, and Nine years in an Accounting environment.
